Relieve Anxiety & Stress With Yoga


Join Alistair for a three session series to explore the healing power of yoga and how it can assist you in managing stress and anxiety. If not managed appropriately, stress can have significant negative effects on the body and mind. If you feel that stress and anxiety are interfering with your daily life, this workshop will provide you with tools and techniques to provide relief. In this series you will:

  • Explore the triggers and physiological effects of stress
  • Learn asana, pranayama (breathing) and yoga nidra techniques that can assist in the management of stress and anxiety
  • Discuss appropriate responses to stress that can assist in limiting the negative effects on the body and mind
  • Enjoy practicing all of the techniques to feel the immediate effects of these powerful tools.

RYT 200, Alistair, spent 11 years in the New Zealand Army as a combat trainer / officer. He found yoga as a way to repair his body from years of hard physical activity and aims to share his experiences with others. His vinyasa flow style of yoga focuses on moving with breath in order to warm the body, calm the mind and assist students to discover their own inner warrior.
