Join us for a community event to celebrate summer's longest day by saluting the sun! Deepen your practice and connection to yoga with 108 sun salutations. In unison, we will move mindfully through your choice of sun salutations as a way to clear out thoughts, strengthen the body and unite our spirit more deeply to the seasons. Jill will lead you through the Global Mala format as set forth by Shiva Rea, breaking up the 108 into four groups of 27. In this workshop we will:
- Break down the poses of sun salutation first to ensure safety and prevent injuries
- Offer and encourage modifications to suit your style
- Center before each set of 27 with a short meditation: first for your own personal growth, then for someone you love, followed my a meditation for our community and finally a healing meditation for the world
Challenge your body and mind in this moving meditation to welcome in summer! Class open to all levels. Join us after for a potluck community event with beverages and hors d’oeuvres to celebrate our pradipikaYOGA community.

RYT 200, Jill completed her teacher training at Kripalu School of Yoga + Ayurveda in 2014, and has had a longtime interest in healthy living. Jill has recently returned to the Shoreline from California where she spent a few years on Northern coast, working within the farm-to-table movement. She draws from her diverse experiences and guides engaging classes full of integrated movement and student- focused flow that highlight the mindfulness, vitality and joy that yoga can bring to our lives. Jill looks forward to moving through a class with you!
