Gentle Yoga - a five week series to sooth lower back pain, improve flexibility and reduce stress


Join Haily for a delightful series of gentle yoga classes. Gentle yoga is a wonderful practice, whether you are working with an injury, have been intimidated by more strenuous classes or if you just want to relax and unwind at the end of your week. Designed to clear your head and unkink the body after a long day, this series is accessible to almost everyone, especially those who need to avoid pressure on wrists, knees and shoulders. This series will guide you to connect breath, alignment, and mindfulness with basic yoga postures. Based on the Kripalu tradition of cultivating inner peace, these classes will focus on stretching and attention to breath during a relaxing flow. You will practice grounding standing postures to find strength in a safe and supported way, and conclude with a restorative yoga experience. You will emerge feeling calm, grounded, and rejuvenated. Treat yourself to the gift of self care.

 

When: Fridays 6:00 - 7:15pm, May 6th, May 13th, May 27th, June 3rd and June 10th

Fee: $75 for the five week series, $17 drop in per class, other class packages are not applicable for series.

Haily Cryan, RYT500, employs alignment and flow to create a space for students to explore their practice with mindfulness and compassion. She completed her 500hr Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training at Kripalu and is thrilled to be deepening her own practice and knowledge in order to weave it into her teachings.
