Join Marcy for another delightful series of gentle yoga classes, now with the incorporation of yin yoga postures to relax and unwind at the end of your week. Designed to clear your head and unkink the body after a long day, this series is accessible to almost everyone, especially those who need to avoid pressure on wrists, knees and shoulders. Yin yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more invigorating yoga styles. In yin yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive release for the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. Yin yoga restores and maintains the natural mobility of the joints, primarily between the navel and the knees. The relax & renew series will be a combination of gentle yoga flowing postures with the incorporation of the yin yoga postures as Marcy leads you through a practice that restores and harmonizes in a mindful practice that includes breath work, gentle movement, and yoga nidra savasana. You will emerge feeling calm, grounded, and rejuvenated.

Fee: $65 for the six week series if registered by Feb 6 , $75 if registered after Feb 6, $17 drop in per class, other class packages are not applicable for series.
