Today the alignment and precision of Iyengar yoga, combined with a meditative union of movement and breath inspires her practice. Caitlin's yoga classes are both physically challenging and quietly introspective. A slow flow, breath-centered approach teaches conscious transitions, integrated movement and embodied anatomy. Expect to work mindfully and deeply. Get to know your body better and walk away feeling stronger, lighter, and refreshed.

Caitlin's interest in anatomy has inspired her to deeper study of the human body – its layers and patterns, how movement connects us to our environments, to each other, and to the Self. As a teacher she empowers students with the tools to organize the body in a way that brings awareness of breath and focus to the mind, fosters a safe practice for those recovering from injury, and builds a solid platform for healthy practice.

Caitlin_Jan WS.jpg

The new year so often comes with pressures of striving for improvement or planning towards future events. What if we could take a break from all of that and sit with the gift of what is here and now? Join Caitlin Casella, the teacher of our upcoming YogaWorks teacher training, for a class in movement and meditation. Drawing inspiration from grounding practices of Body-Mind Centering and Feldenkrais Method, this class weaves together gentle intuitive movement, breath-centered slow flow yoga and mindfulness meditation.

  • Discover the versatility of a meditation practice that can be done in movement, in stillness, sitting up, or lying down
  • Learn access tools for clarity and calm in transit
  • Yoga teachers: add new gentle movement sequences to your repertoire and learn a foundational meditation practice that can be offered in any setting

All levels of experience with yoga and meditation are welcome for this unheated class. Teachers earn 1.5 CE with Yoga Alliance.
