Welcome to pradipikaYOGA
As the shoreline's community yoga studio, we offer a variety of class styles and believe yoga is for everybody. You don’t need to be flexible, look a certain way, or even to know what to do to practice with us - all you need is a willingness to step on your mat and be present. At pradipikaYOGA, our classes are for all levels of practice unless otherwise stated. Our teachers share adaptations for poses making most classes accessible to any level of practitioner, including beginners.

Here are some HELPFUL tips for you as you begin your YOGA journey with us:
You can either drop in or sign up online for any class. If you do register online, your spot is held up to 10 minutes prior to the start of class. If you reserved a spot and did not attend class, we delete your reservation and the class is credited to your account.
We rent mats for a nominal fee, and always have blocks and straps available for you to use. If you have your own mat and props, you are welcome to bring them.
For our heated classes -you will sweat - so bring a towel. We rent towels as well.
Ensure you bring a water bottle filled with water and/or electrolytes. It is important to stay hydrated. We also have filtered water available to fill your bottle and hydrating beverages for purchase.
Come to the studio 15 – 20 minutes early to familiarize yourself with the space and to get setup for your first class. If you didn’t purchase a class and fill out a waiver online, you will have time to do that as well.
Changing areas are available for you to use and cubbies are available to store any items you will not take into the yoga room. Please keep any valuables in your car. We do not have private lockers.
Introduce yourself to the teacher! Our teachers want to support you and answer your questions.
Place your mat anywhere in the room you feel comfortable. (The front of the room is the windows and brown double doors and you can line your mat up behind the yantra decal)
You’ll notice that we do not ask students to stay quiet while in the yoga room because it’s the perfect opportunity to create connection. After placing your mat down and setting up your space, get to know your neighbors! Talk, laugh and share before class begins.
Give yourself time to learn the practice and the poses. Yoga is an intuitive practice, which means you are always welcome to adapt poses and/or take a short break in child’s pose. We ask that you listen to your body.
If you would like more support, we offer private yoga sessions.
